BeautyI believe in beauty. And I’m not talking lust, or love. Beauty doesn’t summon up unholy desires; it doesn’t carry with it any sort of contractual obligation. It’s not limited to the humanoid, to the conscious, or even to the living. Beauty is nothing more than a simple and casual appreciation for the way things are, the way they have been, and the way they will be.

Mauthausen[I wrote the rough draft to this essay, if you will, on a small notepad while riding out of Mauthausen concentration camp in a coach bus. This single event was part of my cumulative experience with the Global Young Leaders Conference in the summer of 2008. What a day.

Evenin', Deviants.

Today I was involved in a car-chase and a shootout. That is, a shootout with water guns. But the car-chase involved real cars. It's all part of this game my school does called Assassin -- I'm sure you've heard of it somewhere. Long story short, I lost, but not without putting up a hell of a fight. And it sure was exhilarating.

In other news I've discovered that posting angry shit on deviantART when you're angry really does make you feel better. Good thing I signed up for this when I did.
